Bariatric Surgical Procedures
Deep Brain Stimulation etc.
It is required for the patient to get a clearance prior to the above surgical procedure, to make sure the patient is not currently acutely mentally ill, has the capacity to make informed consent, and to receive treatment for if any acute mental health issues prior to and after the above surgical procedures.
